谈到高登，马布里说道：“高登是我们非常需要的一名球员，他除了具备很强的得分能力之外，他还可以给队友制造机会。我们需要一个球员能够很好的把国内球员都给带动起来，让他们变得更好。”
谈到大外援哈斯，马布里表示：“哈斯这名球员大家应该比较了解了，并且这个休赛期练的非常刻苦，非常努力，相信他回来以后会有一个质的提高与进步。”
31岁的高登上赛季为福建男篮出战20场比赛，场均可贡献44.1分9.5次助攻，投篮命中率47.8%，三分命中率34.4%；哈斯场均出战20分钟，可以得到12.4分8.8篮板1.4盖帽。
